An award-winning law firm have an exciting Paralegal opportunity on a long term contract basis, supporting a new fee earner within a key area in their Dispute Resolution team.  This fast paced, busy role will provide you with an exciting chance to learn and progress your knowledge and experience whilst at the same time providing a solid, organisational support function through taking on various fee-generating and paralegal duties.

As a Paralegal, your role will involve:

• Handling a caseload and offering legal advice
• Meeting fee and chargeable hours targets
• Undertaking research tasks, and providing analysis and input of legal data
• Taking new enquiries when needed and assisting with business development
• Being a point of contact for queries from clients and third parties
• Producing high quality documentation and correspondence
• Taking instructions from clients

I am very interesting in speaking with proactive candidates who have experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, and who have solid IT skills across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).  If you have a legal qualification (such as a Degree) that would be attractive, as would knowledge of legal database certifications (such as LexisNexis or PLC) and experience working in legal departments such as construction or litigation (but other legal teams are fine).

Salary for this Paralegal opportunity is £26,000 to £28,000 (depending on level of experience).
