Meet our Team

I’ve been part of the Meridian team for 9 years, with 13 years of continuous service, including my time at Catherine Johnstone Recruitment prior to the acquisition. My journey has been both rewarding and exciting. I initially joined as a Recruitment Consultant and was soon promoted to Senior Consultant. Over the years, I’ve developed a specialist focus in the world of media, publishing, marketing, and digital, while continuing to support my clients with a wide range of office and professional requirements. 

Before moving into recruitment, I worked in retail management and later ran my own self-employed DJ business. While looking to supplement my income, I started temping in sales at a media company through Catherine Johnstone Recruitment. Around the same time, I was offered a permanent role with the media business and a chance to join the recruitment agency, and I chose recruitment. I haven’t looked back since.

What I enjoy most about my role at Meridian is meeting new clients and building meaningful relationships with businesses, helping them solve their hiring challenges. I particularly love the challenge of finding solutions for hard-to-fill roles. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of placing that ‘unicorn’ candidate who makes a real difference to a business.

If I had to describe Meridian in three words, they would be:
Supportive – from leadership to peers, the support is always there when it’s needed most.
Transparent – we have honest, open conversations about the market, our challenges, and opportunities.
Integrity – we always strive to do what’s right for both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, I still DJ every Friday and Saturday night, music is a big part of my life. I also love tennis, hiking, and walking (I’ve climbed Snowdon seven times!), and of course, I love spending time with my children.
