We are delighted to announce that Meridian Business Support has strengthened its capabilities in the South with the acquisition of Croydon-based Catherine Johnstone Recruitment (CJR).
CJR trades with 90 key clients, ranging from SMEs to international companies, and is expected to double its branch headcount in the next six months.
Meridian will migrate CJR’s back-office services and data to its platforms. CJR’s 37 years’ experience will enhance Meridian’s office & professional, finance, marketing, and human resources sectors.
Mark Mitchell, Chief Executive at Meridian Business Support, commented: “CJR is an excellent fit with our existing business and supports our expansion into London as part of our growth strategy. CJR presents a fantastic opportunity for us to acquire an experienced business to further our presence in the South.”
“CJR’s vast experience in specialist office and professional recruitment services will aid us in developing our business. We are confident that CJR’s strong experience in the sectors we are keen to grow in, teamed with its impressive client base, will provide us with new and exciting opportunities.”
Jeremy Booth, Managing Director of CJR, joins Meridian Business Support as part of the acquisition and will continue to lead his Croydon-based team under the Meridian banner. Jeremy said: “We are looking forward to not only continuing to deliver fantastic results for our existing and new clients, but also to further developing our offering by utilizing Meridian’s depth and breadth of experience in the industry."
