Meridian Business Support are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team of a global distribution company at their site in Middleton (M24)
  • Salary upto £35,000pa
  • Day shifts : 08:00 - 18:30 - 42 Hours per week 
  • 4 Days per week  working either Sunday – Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday

Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front: Drive shift performance across key KPIs—quality, volume, efficiency, and safety.
  • Champion safety and process adherence: Maintain the highest standards while ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Own improvements: Identify and implement process enhancements that streamline workflows and remove bottlenecks.
  • Coach and develop your team: Support operatives through regular feedback, one-to-ones, and performance management.
  • Communicate effectively: Ensure the team is aligned on goals, updates, and shift plans through regular briefings.
  • Manage the flow: Oversee intra-shift operations, resolve disruptions, and allocate resources smartly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with internal teams—HR, L&D, Health & Safety, eComm, Retail, and more—to meet and exceed targets.
 
Warehouse Supervisor key skills / experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in warehousing operations (D2C preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience leading and developing teams in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of WMS systems and process-level change.
  • Proven ability to foster a safety-first culture and drive high standards.
  • Hands-on experience with holiday approvals, absence management and disciplinary processes.
