I have worked at Meridian for around five years, starting out as a temp receptionist in our Bristol branch. Prior to this, I spent the majority of my working career before Meridian in the financial sector for a Large UK bank. My first role was onboarding, where I scheduled and managed new starters and their first 6 months into the company, from there I “fell” into recruitment, where I ran an in-house recruitment and compliance team before becoming a regional recruitment consultant with the responsibility of ensuring the 1000+ headcount requirement. I then took a career break to travel for 3 years and ended up living in New Zealand for a year …..guess what I did for work…Recruitment! I worked with a global company in digital services and printing solutions after I completed their recruitment needs, I also ran backpacker hostels before travelling some more, I mean making my way home to Bristol!
