Looking for a role with a great work-life balance and no weekend working? We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client based in Taunton, TA1.

This is an ongoing temporary opportunity offering regular weekday hours, a friendly working environment and the chance to join a well-established operation. Conveniently located within Taunton, the site is ideally suited to candidates based locally or those able to travel easily by public transport, walking or cycling, with limited on-site parking available.

The RoleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Picking customer orders accurately using pick lists
• Packing products safely and securely for dispatch
• Labelling and preparing goods for shipment
• Carrying out quality checks on stock and completed orders
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties as required

Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this Warehouse Operative position, you should have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, dispatch or distribution environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently to deadlines

Candidates with experience as a Picker Packer, Order Picker, Distribution Operative, Stores Operative or Logistics Assistant are encouraged to apply.
