Support Worker – Day Centre
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:50 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a Support Worker with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) to join a day centre in Stoke.

We are looking for a Support Worker with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) to join a day centre in Stoke.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals to participate and fully engage in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Support service users on days out and activities within the local community.
- Provide personal care where required.
- Assist with food and support service users with eating.
- Support individuals with specialist requirements, including PEG feeding where required.
- Use mobility aids and equipment to safely support, lift and move service users.
- Carry out duties delegated by the Manager or Team Leader within your skills and competence.
- Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.
- Previous experience in a care or support work setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Caring, patient and reliable approach.
- Female candidates preferred.
