Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with their daily living needs, ensuring person-centred care at all times.
- Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence while providing high-quality support.
- Conduct formal supervisions and contribute to staff appraisals when required.
- Assist with the development and review of care plans.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to support workers within the team.
- Monitor and maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Help promote a safe, supportive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
- Previous experience in a senior care or support role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and resident-focused approach to care.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or currently working towards this qualification.
