Meridian requires a permanent full-time Multi Trader for a large static site in Battersea (high-end residential apartments)

£45,000 per annum salary
Thursday to Monday – 8am to 5pm working hours
(every Tuesday and Wednesday off)
Overtime available @ x1.5
Discretionary annual bonuses and awards for exceptional performers
Development, cross-training and exposure to other roles

The Multi Trader will be responsible to work in shared residential spaces within the development.

Entrance halls, foyers, and reception areas.
Stairwells, landings, and corridors.
Car parks, gates, and external pathways.
Bin stores, refuse areas, and laundry rooms.
Communal facilities

Duties will include: -

Carpentry repairs to doors and windows.
Basic locksmith works - repairs/adjustment of door closers and locks.
Roofing, guttering, drainage maintenance and repair.
Small scale decoration works including flooring installation
Carry out security inspections and operations as required and report defects
Installing signage
Health & Safety inspections and activities to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues or requirements for replacement
Complete all necessary documentation and time logs accurately and on time
Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, estate managers, and contractors when required.

Criteria

Previous related maintenance experience in a multi-trader role, ideally within high-end residential or hotel environments
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in interior/exterior repair
Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to deal with a range of people at all levels
