We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Lecturer in Plumbing to join our dynamic Department of Construction. This exciting role offers the opportunity to design and deliver Plumbing courses to a diverse range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The successful candidate will also contribute to the ongoing development of the department, provide tutorial support to students, and undertake essential administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the ongoing development of the department, provide tutorial support to students, and undertake essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of Plumbing programmes.
- Ensure all teaching is in line with awarding body requirements to promote student achievement.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, and electronic resources.
- Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
- Carry out moderation, assessment, and verification processes.
- Provide tutorial guidance to students, track and review their progress, and communicate feedback to learners, parents/guardians, and employers.
- Maintain industrial links and professional development within the Plumbing and Construction sector.
- Industry experience within the Plumbing and Construction sector.
- A minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing.
- Ability to deliver inspirational teaching to learners of varying ages and abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and development.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications.
- Familiarity with integrating core skills such as Maths and English into vocational learning.
