Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create a caring service experience aligned with our values of compassion, empathy, and transparency.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellent service.
- Ensure residents receive exceptional experiences that exceed their needs and expectations.
- Oversee food service operations and work closely with the chef to deliver quality meals on time.
- Develop and manage engaging activities that support residents’ interests, enjoyment, and wellbeing.
- Maintain excellent first impressions and high standards of cleanliness across the home.
- Ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly to keep the facility safe and well maintained.
- Manage the hospitality budget, balancing cost control with service quality and revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to strengthen community engagement.
- Ensure staff are well-trained, supported, and equipped to perform effectively.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, employment legislation, and relevant regulations, with accurate record keeping.
- Previous experience in a hospitality role, ideally within a care home, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication, motivation, and people management skills.
- Genuine passion for engaging with residents and their families.
- Strong organisational skills with good time management.
- Warm, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering personalised and high-quality hospitality.
