We are seeking a strong Administrator capable of working in a fast-paced environment for our client in Yeovil as an Export Coordinator. This is an ongoing Temporary position that offers flexible start and finish times and the opportunity to work 2 days a week from home following the completion of training.

- Ensure that exports of spares and repairs on a worldwide basis to both the Company’s Customers and Suppliers are despatched within agreed service level and sales order due date along with the correct documentation.
- Production of export documents that are compliant to H M Revenue & Customs & Department for Business Innovation & Skills regulations.
- Production of export documents that are Customer/Country specific. The documents must also be compliant with customer contractual requirements.
- Ensure that where necessary shipping documentation is compliant to Letter of Credit terms and conditions.
- Ensure that where necessary the completion of the export entry through the GTS System
- Progress components through the despatch process, ensuring that they are despatched in accordance with customer requirements and to the agreed service levels and sale order due dates.
- To act as point of contact for queries from various internal departments and communicate response in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders regarding the delivery solution of their transportation needs.
- Ensuring that correct HM Revenue & Customs export procedures are complied with at time of export, including Export Licence and commodity coding requirements.
- Communication with the Company’s external packing sub-contractor to ensure that spares and repairs are packed in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Communication with both the Company’s preferred Freight Forwarders and Customers nominated agents. This will involve booking freight for despatch via airfreight, sea freight and road freight ensuring that shipments arrive with customers and suppliers within agreed service levels.
- Checking freight bills against agreed rates to be processed for payment.
- Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements.
- Ensure that appropriate records are maintained that are compliant with the Department for Business Innovation & Skills & HM Revenue & Customs.
- Ensure departmental & training instructions are continually maintained for given countries, customers, suppliers and procedures.
- Ensure Post Goods Issue and Release to accounts are carried out in accordance with the departmental instructions.
- Ensure documents are in accordance with the regulations are despatched via FedEx on a daily basis.
