Meridian requires a permanent full-time Electrician for a large static site in Battersea (large high-end residential apartment complex blocks)

£50,000 per annum salary
Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm working hours
Overtime available @ x1.5
Discretionary annual bonuses and awards for exceptional performers
Development, cross-training and exposure to other roles

The Electrician will be responsible to work on electrical systems in shared residential spaces within the development.

Entrance halls, foyers, and reception areas.
Stairwells, landings, and corridors.
Car parks, gates, and external pathways.
Bin stores, refuse areas, and laundry rooms.
Communal facilities

Duties will include: -

Planned Maintenance: Emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, and scheduled PPM tasks.
Reactive and remedial Electrical works: Fault-finding and repairs for lighting, power issues, replacing lamps, lights, pumps, motors, and conducting 2nd-fix tasks such as sockets and switches and general electrical problems.
Assisting with other trades and completing other general building fabric repairs

Criteria

Proven experience of working in a plumbing role dealing with both domestic and commercial scale projects
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing) – preferred but not essential
Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to deal with a range of people at all levels
