About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of the care home. You will assist the Home Manager and take full responsibility in their absence, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
We support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, using a Positive Behaviour Support approach to promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of the care home. You will assist the Home Manager and take full responsibility in their absence, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and step in as Manager when required
- Lead and supervise care staff to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure care plans and records are accurate and up to date
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and manage medication
- Support staff training, development, and performance
- Act as safeguarding lead in the Manager’s absence
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and professionals

Requirements
- Previous Deputy Manager (or similar) experience
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff, residents, and families
