Continuous Improvement Engineer 

If you are an experienced and passionate Continuous Improvement Engineer or CI Coordinator who can champion a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of a large manufacturing facility, then we would love to hear from you.  We have a great opportunity, if you have the interest in the role and the experience to offer.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for implementing and leading continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve key metrics in safety, quality, time, and cost.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, define and scope projects, and implement lean tools to improve. 
  • Train, coach and influence others and, acting as a Change Agent, champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organisation.
  • Partner with leaders to identify improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and support building the business case.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and shop floor improvement activities.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing systems, quality tools, and their application.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Lean principles and tools (Kaizen, 5 Why, 5S, TPM, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading Lean system implementations and improvement activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, including stakeholder identification and management.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing systems, quality tools, and their application.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Lean principles and tools (Kaizen, 5 Why, 5S, TPM, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading Lean system implementations and improvement activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification (if not, willingness to train)
