Job Title: Clinical Lead
Reports to: Home Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to support the delivery of high-quality clinical care within our care home. In this role, you will work closely with nurses and care staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice, governance, and resident care are maintained.
Working alongside the management team, you will help ensure residents’ individual needs are met through excellent nursing care, while also supporting and guiding the clinical team in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality clinical care for all residents.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nurses and care staff.
- Make informed clinical decisions and provide support in complex situations.
- Promote and maintain best nursing practices within the home.
- Support, mentor, and train team members to maintain professional standards.
- Contribute to maintaining clinical governance and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in clinical audits, safeguarding procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence in leading a nursing team.
- Previous leadership or management experience, or experience supervising a small team.
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
- Passion for promoting best nursing practice and supporting the development of others.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding procedures, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), regulatory compliance, and care standards.
- Registered Nurse with valid professional registration.
- Relevant post-registration clinical experience.
