We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing daily meals for our residents. You will ensure food is fresh, within budget, and prepared to the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety while leading and supporting the kitchen team.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing daily meals for our residents. You will ensure food is fresh, within budget, and prepared to the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety while leading and supporting the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare balanced menus tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Manage food stocks, place orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure safe storage, preparation, and service of food in line with regulations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen, including regular deep cleaning.
- Attend staff meetings and build positive relationships with residents and families.
- Proven Chef experience (healthcare or hospitality preferred).
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Good communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (willing to progress), First Aid Certified, NVQ Level 2/3 in Catering.
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
