Meridian is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. You'll be joining a dynamic team of logistics workers in a packing and distribution area, working in a clean factory environment for a manufacturing firm in Cheltenham.
Hours: 07.45 – 16.45 Monday to Thursday and half day Friday

Warehouse Operative duties will include :
- Packing items for dispatch;
- Picking items to order and updating changes to stock levels (using electronic hand held terminal/scanner);
- Completing related paperwork;
- Checking containers for correct contents and reporting errors;
- Support other warehouse operatives;
- Please note a 3 year referencing period and DBS check is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a warehouse role
- A strong level of literacy and numeracy (counting out items, checking part numbers, completing some basic paperwork);
- Ability to work at height as the role will involve working on a VNA truck at times;
- Forklift licence / experience would be advantageous
- Powered pallet truck, lifting equipment would be advantageous but are not essential for this role
