Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver - Timber Industry We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established and busy timber company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking for a long-term career within a growing business.
Working within a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment, you will play a key role in ensuring timber products are handled, stored, and transported safely and efficiently. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to learn additional processes, including operating timber treatment vessels.

Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading packs of timber using FLT equipment.
- Transporting, stacking, and storing timber products safely within the warehouse and yard.
- Organising stock and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Assisting with the operation of timber treatment vessels (full training provided).
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Carrying out general warehouse, yard, and production duties as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Valid FLT Licence (essential).
- Previous experience operating a Forklift Truck in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Strong work ethic and a reliable attitude.
- Good practical skills and the ability to work in a hands-on role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
- Experience within the timber, construction, manufacturing, or building products sector would be advantageous.
