Are you a proactive and personable professional with a knack for sales and customer service which has been obtained from the trade environment (e.g. builders’ merchants, hardware, plumbing, or electrical)? Do you enjoy building relationships and delivering solutions that really make a difference?

We’re looking for a Trade Sales and Customer Support Advisor to join a friendly, hard-working team in Wincanton. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the first point of contact for the valued trade customers, offering expert advice, processing orders, and helping to grow long-term relationships that support the ongoing success.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting trade customers with expert product advice, quotations, and efficient order processing
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing trade accounts
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to maximise customer satisfaction and sales
  • Recommending the best product solutions to meet customer needs using up-to-date product knowledge
  • Accurately maintaining customer records using the systems, including SAGE and CRM tools
  • Working closely with the team to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service
What we’re looking for:
  • A results-driven professional with strong telesales and admin skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated with leadership potential, capable of delegating tasks and driving team performance
  • Customer-focused, with a keen ability to capture insights and provide feedback to the team
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and open to improving work processes
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or trade environment (e.g. builders’ merchants, hardware, plumbing, or electrical)
  • IT-literate, ideally with experience using SAGE and CRM systems

This position is working 40 hours a week – Monday – Friday 8.30 – 17.00.
The starting salary for this role is £30,000 PA.
