Technical Sales Executive
Kidlington
Circa £35,000 plus bonus
We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to work for a fabulous family-owned company in Kidlington. This is a full-time, office-based position with a salary in the region of £35000 + 5% company bonus.
As a Technical Sales Executive for this company, you would be joining a sales team of 6. Paired with a very knowledgeable and successful member of the team your geographic territory will be in the West of England. This role is to bring a consultative approach to the sales process, increasing product sales and making recommendations to existing clients and converting warm leads to new business.
The company itself is a small/medium model that has doubled in growth since the pandemic and is on target to double again this financial year. They are a friendly and sociable group, that welcome diversity, so anyone with the correct skill set, attitude and interest is very welcome. They frequently play squash on a Friday lunchtime, organise other team outings such as bowling and there is the odd football/rugby enthusiast within the team. They have annual Christmas and Summer events that everyone gets involved in. Technical Sales Executive duties (to include but not exhaustive)
- Consultative selling to existing and potential customers, by qualifying sales leads (mostly warm not cold calls)
- Providing sales information and demonstrations to customers
- Organising quotations and samples/evaluations
- Work as an equal team member to manage a geographical sale territory.
- A proven track record in B2B sales preferably manufacturing (selling adhesives and/or equipment to end users an advantage)
- A Science, Engineering or Technology background with excellent aptitude for understanding technology.
- Excellent communication skills on all platforms and be comfortable with using the phone as a proactive sales tool.
- The ability to form and maintain professional relationships.
- A willingness and ability to learn about technical products with help and training from the onsite Learning and Development manager.
