An exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our global manufacturing client based in Bridgwater Somerset.
Salary: Competitive
37.5 Hrs per week
Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00
Friday 08:30 - 14.00
The ideal person will be a highly analytical manager with experience in "internal supply chain management" and "Production Planning" that can oversee a skilled team of three.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of UK Production Planning, Internal and External Replenishment, and Procurement activities, as well as the co-ordination of various activities related to product maintenance.
The ideal person will have the exciting opportunity to travel to the clients sister companies around the world.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Desirable Minimum 5 years experience in a Supply Chain management role, preferably within a manufacturing industry environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing individual reports and teams.
• Familiarity with operating MRP systems within ERP environments, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
•Demonstrable track record of working with a large vendor base
• Demonstrable experience of working with third-party manufacturers
• Excellent planning, organisational and task prioritisation skills, with the ability to self prioritise own workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organisational levels.
