We are recruiting for a Shunter Driver to work Nights 4 on/ 4 off 6pm-6am (1800-0600) for a logistics company based in Lutterworth. This is an ongoing temporary role with a pay rate of £16.31 per hour.

As a Shunter Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of trailer movements and logistics, adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your role will involve the following:
- Trailer Placement: Accurately position trailers in designated areas as per instructions.
- Safety Checks: Conduct thorough safety inspections as mandated by the company.
- Incident Reporting: Promptly report any defects, accident damage, or incidents.
- Professional Conduct: Communicate courteously and professionally with colleagues.
- Speed Monitoring: Report any breaches in speed limits by drivers and subcontractors.
- Housekeeping: Maintain vehicle parking area layouts and report any debris issues to the site services team.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Shunter Driver role
- In date Accredited Shunter Certificate (RTITB/ ITSARR) OR HGV1 OR C+E License
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly address and resolve issues as they arise.
- Professionalism: Consistent demonstration of a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
