Service Co-Ordinator

📍 Location: Heywood – Office Based
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Permanent | Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00
💰 Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 (reviewed after 6 months)
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Service Co-Ordinator to support the day-to-day running of our client's service operations. You will work closely with managers and field engineers to schedule work, manage service requests, support customers, and keep systems up to date.
This role would suit someone with good organisational skills and a strong willingness to learn. You’ll be supported by an experienced management team, and for the right person there are clear progression opportunities as part of the business’s succession planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and coordinating daily workloads for field service engineers
- Logging and managing service requests and work orders
- Prioritising urgent jobs and ensuring timely job completion
- Communicating with engineers, managers, and customers
- Preparing service reports and customer updates
- Maintaining service data using Excel, Teams, and an in-house CRM
- Supporting quotations, stock, and resource planning as required
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Confident communicator with good customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills (training provided on internal systems)
- Proactive, reliable, and keen to develop
- Experience in service coordination, scheduling, facilities, maintenance, operations, logistics, or similar roles would be advantageous
