Senior Support Worker

Meridian Health is pleased to represent a leading residential children's home providor in Derby.
A leading group of independent residential children’s homes and schools for young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties; all staff contribute to the provision of a supportive, caring, learning environment.
Our homes are in Heanor and Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Candidates who are qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential for our Senior Support Worker role. Having a range of life skills and experience is vital and LD or SEBD residential experience is a huge advantage.
Holding a current valid driving licence and the right to work in the UK is essential for the role.
All successful candidates will be expected to display a commitment to promoting the safeguarding and wellbeing of our Young People and to participate in all activities with the young people.
Shift Patterns
A combination of early shifts, late shifts, and full days with regular sleep-in duties. The role includes alternate weekends and bank holidays.
Late 14:30- 22.00 or sleep
Early 07:30-15:00
Full 07:30 – 22:00 or sleep
Based on full time hours of 39 per week.
The above salarie does not include sleep in's, at a rate of £40 per sleep, which can add an additional £2,080 per year on average.
