I’m working with a well-established, design-led tile showroom in Durham that’s looking to add a confident, customer-focused Design & Sales Consultant to their team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves interiors, enjoys working with customers, and gets a buzz from turning ideas into finished spaces. Think inspiring showrooms, premium products, and customers who actually want your advice.
You’ll be the face of the showroom, helping customers bring their projects to life — whether that’s flooring for a first home, a bathroom refresh, or a trade order.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and understanding what they’re trying to achieve
- Inspiring design ideas and recommending products that genuinely fit their needs
- Managing sales accurately from start to finish
- Learning constantly about new product ranges and design trends
- Working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service
- A natural communicator with a friendly, confident approach
- A flare for interiors, colour, or design (formal qualifications not required)
- Comfortable with basic maths and measurements
- Reliable, hands-on, and happy to help with stock and lifting when needed
- A true team player who takes pride in their work
