We are recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join a serviced office building based in Rochdale. This is to cover a period of maternity estimated at 6 months so you must be fully committed to this contract period. This is a varied and hands-on Receptionist role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming, efficient and professional service at all times.
📍 Location: Rochdale
⏰ Hours: Tuesday to Friday 8am-1pm and Saturday 8am-12 noon (24 hours in total)
💰 Pay: £12.71ph

Key Responsibilities as Receptionist:
- Welcome visitors and customers, directing them to the appropriate person or service
- Process sales and payments accurately (face-to-face and over the phone)
- Handle sales enquiries and prepare customer quotations
- Escort customers to storage units and demonstrate access and facilities
- Complete and maintain customer storage agreements and records
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Maintain site security by screening visitors
- Keep the reception area clean, organised and welcoming
- Sort and manage incoming post and parcels
- Clean storage units and surrounding areas as required
- Support general administrative duties across the business
- Carry out any additional tasks as needed to support the team
We are keen to speak with applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Strong clerical and administrative skills are essential
- Previous experience in a Receptionist or Customer Service role
- Confident telephone manner and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Sage
