Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our client’s manufacturing operation in Chandlers Ford. This is an urgent temporary role for approximately 2 months, with the possibility of extension.

- ASAP start
- Temporary – approx. 2 months (potential to extend)
- £33,100 per year (£16.35 p/h)
- 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Based in Chandlers Ford
🔧 The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all purchased and manufactured components meet the required quality standards. You’ll inspect goods against technical drawings/specifications, identify non‑conformances, communicate with suppliers, and help drive continuous improvement.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting inbound components against drawings and specifications
- Ensuring compliance with purchase order and quality requirements
- Identifying, reporting, and quarantining non‑conforming parts
- Liaising with suppliers to minimise repeat quality issues
- Supporting internal teams with quality processes
- Producing accurate inspection reports
- Inspecting finished pump sets before dispatch
🧩 What We're Looking For
- Previous Quality Inspector / Goods-In Inspection experience
- Confident reading technical drawings and engineering specs
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Experience inspecting mechanical components (desirable)
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Able to work independently and prioritise workload
