Quality Inspector
Located on the outskirts of Tewkesbury, this premium technology precision engineering company is looking to hire a Quality Inspector to check CNC milled and turned component parts (plus other specialist operations) on a permanent basis.

It's been four years since we last took on someone new into our Quality department. Now that a well respected member of our team has hung up his vernier to move into the next chapter of his life, we're looking to hire a new Quality Inspector to join the successful team.

We’re now in a position to take on a new Quality Inspector to join our small quality team, to inspect CNC machined components (milling, turning and grinding).
+ modern, clean, tidy, well organised and well-equipped shop floor
+ A full suite of metrology equipment from micrometers and gauges to CMM and form tracing equipment
+ Easy access to all the tooling and equipment you need to do your best work

+ Manufacturing original equipment, not on a sub-contract basis
+ Checking the quality of CNC machined components which will eventually end up in many applications which will go on to make a real difference in peoples' lives

What experience will you need?
You’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector, comfortable completing first offs and in-process inspections of CNC machined component parts.
You’ll probably have more than two years’ experience of working as a Quality Inspector but if you have the skills already in less time, then we'll welcome your application too.
As an experienced Quality Inspector you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in using a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of CNC machined components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, CMM and similar equipment.
Job title: Quality Inspector
Location: Tewkesbury, commutable from Worcester, Evesham, Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounding areas.
Working hours: 39 hour working week, day shift, lunch time finish on Fridays, overtime often available.
Pay rate: As a guide, we're looking to pay between £32,000 and £36,000 based on your experience and we're happy to discuss your requirements too
Contract type: permanent from day one
