QC Analyst – Hereford
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour
Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent
We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a busy and growing quality control team based in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or quality control experience looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine analytical testing and organoleptic assessment of raw materials
- Issue certificates of analysis for products
- Communicate test results with Production, Development, and Purchasing teams
- Support Production with technical and quality-related queries
- Maintain accurate laboratory and computer records
- Maintain, check, and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Ensure all laboratory work is completed in line with health & safety and good laboratory practices
- Support food safety, quality, integrity, and legal compliance standards
- Review batch production and laboratory control records
- Assist with QC release of packed products
- Approve or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished products where required
- Support validation protocols, quality reviews, and quality assurance procedures
- Previous experience within a laboratory, QC, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and adaptable approach to work
- Understanding of quality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Consistent Monday to Friday working hours
- Early finish every Friday
