We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a great company based in Wincanton. This is a permanent opportunity and would suit someone who is flexible to work across several parts of the business and is interested in doing a detailed and quality role.
Within the role you will carry out the following:
Hours: Week One - Monday – Thurs 8.00 – 4.30, Friday 8.00- 4.00, Week 2 - Monday – Thursday 8.00 – 4.30, Friday 8.00 – 1pm

Within the role you will carry out the following:
- Assemble and pack products
- Organise the movement of stock - you will be given instructions from the supervisors or manager on what needs to be where each day.
- Undertake metal-working duties
- Assist with the wiring and building of panels
- Use equipment and carry out production procedures in accordance with company policy and quality standards.
- Maintain a good work rate as well as high quality.
- Inspect products according to established standards and procedures.
- Keep accurate production records as required.
- Driving Company van/truck for collections and deliveries as required.
- Taking on general building and maintenance tasks as required.
- Knowledge of electrical crimping and experience using wire cutters an advantage but not essential
- Experience of working within a stores and or a production environment is advantageous
- A valid UK Driving Licence is essential to be able to drive the company van
- The ability to update and keep accurate records
