We have a new opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join a leading packaging manufacturer based in Ledbury. This is a full time, office based permanent role working Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.00pm offering a salary up to £28,000 per annum plus annual bonus and generous annual leave!

As Procurement Coordinator, you will join a team of 2 other Coordinators and report directly into the Commercial Manager. You will play a vital role in supporting the business within supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Interface with all functions to plan and prioritise supply activities.
- Review planned orders and create requisitions for raw material.
- Support Procurement Specialist with all procurement functions.
- Manage UK Extrusion procurement – forecast process – S&OP.
- Track order acknowledgement, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
- Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates and cost.
- Review, update and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.
- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, report non-conformances.
- Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
- Control inventory level vs budget.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the below skills and experience:
- Experience from a similar procurement, purchasing or supply chain role
- Experience from manufacturing or production is highly desirable
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel
- Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous, however this can be trained
- Ability to prioritise your workload
- Highly numerical and analytical
