Permanent Installation Electricians
Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company that are growing their team of permanent Installation Electricians after back-to-back successful years. This will provide a variety of work around the North-west. They specialise in commercial projects, such as offices, warehouses, schools, renewable energy systems, as well as education and university buildings etc. In addition to the standard working week, there will be opportunities to work overtime and weekends if you desire, which will greatly improve your take home pay.   • Starting salary of c.£40k, (in line with JIB, based on 40-hour week) with lots of potential for additional earning, greatly increasing your annual take-home pay

  • All projects based in or around the North-west (e.g Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Blackpool, etc.)

Requirements for this role:
  • Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments
  • Gold JIB Electrician Card
  • BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations
  • IPAF preferred but not essential
  • DBS preferred but not essential
  • Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)
Duties will include:
  • Perform electrical installation, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
  • Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
  • Working independently on electrical installation as well as effectively contributing to team environments if and when required
  • Ability to work alongside subcontractors and other trades on commercial projects
  • Being customer-facing on various contracts, meaning effective communication and customer-service skills are essential
