Passive Fire Operations Manager

The Role
 
Overall responsibility for managing all aspects of my clients Passive Fire Division for all internal & external clients and being a key part in leading the business growth whilst complying with company processes and procedures.
 
Accountabilities
 
Full accountability for all aspects of delivery including H&S, Operational and Commercial.
Manage, develop and expand the team and Passive Fire support for their internal and external client accounts, with an objective aiming to accelerate growth of the business, whilst maintaining margin.
 
Key Tasks
 
1.       Manage client accounts (Key client contact), work closely with Clients, developing long-term, valued relationships to ensure the services are delivered in line with expectations.
 
2.       Comply with Health, Safety and the Environmental requirements in compliance with current legislation and as contained within the company’s policies and procedures, working to best practice at all times.
 
3.       Manage and Oversee FIRAS Certification ensuring full compliance.
 
4.       Growth of the division by enhancement of their performance and service offering with existing clients.
 
5.       Manage business development of new clients including PQQ and Bid management
 
6.       Manage projects from inception to completion including but not limited to – Pricing, Surveys, Design Co-ordination, Programming & Methodology, Auditing including quality assurance and Certification, ensuring all deadlines are achieved
 
7.       Work with the management team and clients to implement new innovation and ideas
 
8.       Develop and manage internal Passive Fire team and supply chain to maintain effective working relationships including Recruitment & onboarding, 121’s, Performance Development Reviews and Coaching
 
9.       Refine and manage processes & procedures
 
Person Specification
 
·         You will be an energetic, self-driven and confident individual who seeks the opportunity to progress with a thriving business
·         You will have a proven track record with extensive knowledge in the Passive Fire industry (FIRAS Penetrations, Sealing & Doors) from a contractor background and demonstrate an excellent working knowledge
·         You will hold a ASFP Qualification (Preference)
·         You will hold a FIRAS Qualification (Preference)
·         You will have a good Health & Safety knowledge
·         You will be commercially-aware and be able to deliver good margins  
·         You will be client facing and a strong communicator
·         You will have experience in work winning with client contacts
·         You will have experience in managing and coaching operational teams including installation operatives
·         You will have a good understanding of Design and Products
·         You will have a good IT knowledge
