I’m currently recruiting for an Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse to join a highly respected clinical service provider delivering specialist care across the community in Newcastle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step away from the pressures of a hospital environment and deliver truly patient-centred, one-to-one care in a more flexible and rewarding setting.

As an Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment journey—providing high-quality clinical care via mobile units or local clinics in your area.
You will be responsible for:
  • Administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies
  • Carrying out blood draws, toxicity assessments, and cannulation
  • Managing central lines, pump disconnections, and injections (IM/SC)
  • Delivering safe, compassionate care in line with clinical protocols
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of clinics and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
This role offers a strong balance of independence and clinical support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care without the pressures typically associated with hospital-based roles.

Package and Benefits
  • Salary of £43,700
  • Fully expensed company car and fuel card
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Company pension scheme
  • Laptop, mobile phone and personal safety device
  • NMC fees paid (after one year of service)
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Access to employee assistance programme and wellbeing resources
  • Refer-a-friend scheme (up to £1,200)
About You

To be considered for this role, you will:
  • Hold a valid NMC PIN
  • Have experience in Oncology nursing
  • Hold a recognised Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or equivalent in-house training
  • Be competent in venepuncture and cannulation
  • Have experience administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) across multiple routes
  • Demonstrate a high level of care, empathy and professionalism
  • Be confident working independently while managing your own caseload
If you are looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference to patients’ lives while benefiting from greater flexibility and autonomy, I would be keen to speak with you.
