MEP Revit Technician
Meridian are working with a reputable and well-established M&E contractor in the North-west, who are looking to grow their Design team. This is due to continued successful years, resulting in successful bids for commercial fit-outs on projects across the UK. You will work closely with the Design Manager and other members of the team to develop the designs for Mechanical Building Services throughout projects. Meridian are working with a reputable and well-established M&E contractor in the North-west, who are looking to grow their Design team. This is due to continued successful years, resulting in successful bids for commercial fit-outs on projects across the UK. You will work closely with the Design Manager and other members of the team to develop the designs for Mechanical Building Services throughout projects. - Joining a well-structured and organised M&E design team, with existing CAD technicians, apprentices and a Design Manager
- Salary up to £45,000 DoE
- Immediate start available (subject to successful application process)
- Full-time office-based role in Bolton, with flexible working hours across Monday - Friday
- Strong project pipeline with work already secured for 2026

- Joining in a senior role, helping Junior technicians and working closely with the Design Manager
- Working on reputable projects across the commercial sector for well-known clients and contractors
- Experience working on large scale Revit projects, particularly in commercial MEP environments
- Experience with Navisworks to undertake clash detection/interference checks
- Skilled user of Revit and firm understanding of BIM protocols
- Relevant experience working on MEP and construction projects
- Able to work independently or alongside other members of the Design team
- Excellent communication skills and an aptitude to mentor and train to aid the development of more Junior technicians
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Design in the use of BIM and Revit for MEP Services.
- Involvement and contribution within BIM workflows.
- Preparation of project specific BIM execution plans.
- Continuous development of the MEP Revit families for use by the teams.
- Commitment to producing consistency through different projects.
- Guiding the wider team in understanding of Revit and BIM protocols.
- Troubleshooting and workshopping any BIM issues.
- Producing detailed COBie schedules.
