We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a thriving finance team within a leading business based in Exeter. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the production of management accounts, treasury management, and wider financial reporting.

The Role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts & reports
- Month-end close-down and reconciliations (nominal ledger, control accounts, stock, accruals & prepayments)
- Preparation of UK & Irish VAT returns
- First approver for BACS/SEPA payments and oversight of multi-currency accounts
- Assist with year-end audit files & statutory accounts
- Support ERP implementation and reporting improvements
- Liaise with commercial, purchasing, and IT teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency
- Minimum AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) – studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA desirable
- Strong Excel skills and sound accounting knowledge
- Excellent communicator, able to collaborate across teams and departments
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ambitious, proactive, and keen to drive improvements
- Experience within manufacturing or ERP systems would be a plus
