Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Multiskilled)
The Company:
Are you an experienced Mechanical or Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician? Candidates with a Mechanical bias are needed within this busy engineering facility. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair (preventative and emergency) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery. Previous experience in an Industrial Maintanence Engineering role is essential. Various shifts available including: 3 shift, swing shift and possibly a continental shift for highly experienced Maintenance Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:
- Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
- Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
- Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies.
- Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent.
- Demonstrated multiskilled proficiencyin pneumatic/hydraulic systems, fabrication, and welding.
- Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical or mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels.
- Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
- Resilient, resourceful approach, with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Proactive work ethic, strong initiative, and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.
