As Logistics Improvement Manager, you will lead initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance and operational performance across warehousing, distribution and supply chain activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading logistics and operational improvement projects from planning through to implementation
- Driving continuous improvement using Lean principles, process mapping and value stream analysis
- Monitoring KPIs, identifying trends and implementing solutions to improve performance
- Supporting ISO and BSI audits and maintaining compliance with quality standards
- Managing process documentation and promoting best practice across the site
- Building strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders to successfully embed change
To be successful as a Logistics Improvement Manager, you will have:
- Experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing or supply chain operations
- Previous team leadership or management experience, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from colleagues without direct line management responsibility
- A track record of delivering process improvements, operational change or continuous improvement projects
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies and operational excellence principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of KPI management
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP EWM experience would be highly advantageous
