Lecturer – Health & Social Care
Salary: £24,050 – £35,401 (30 hours/week) 
Pro rata to full time salary of £29,662 - £43,662

Are you a passionate Health & Social Care professional with a flair for teaching? We are seeking an inspirational Lecturer to join the Care, Health & Early Years team on a part-time, full-year basis. What you’ll do:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes, including the upcoming T-Level in Health Science
  • Provide associated tutorial support and guidance to learners
  • Potentially take on the role of course leader for one or more programmes
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Support learners’ academic and personal development, promoting safeguarding and welfare
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development initiatives
What we’re looking for:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications and occupational experience in Health & Social Care
  • Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) or willingness to undertake L5 Diploma in Education & Training if holding L3 teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching and assessing Health & Social Care or Health Science programmes
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring learners
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with learners and provide personal guidance
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, student welfare policies, and effective problem-solving
Working pattern:
  • 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (not Thursday)
  • Primarily face-to-face teaching with flexible agile working options available
