Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to support our engineering and production teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop practical engineering knowledge and hands-on technical skills while gaining valuable workplace experience. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of labouring, assembly, maintenance, and workshop tasks while learning different aspects of mechanical and engineering operations.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00/ Fri 07:00-12:00 noon
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers, technicians, and skilled tradespeople with daily tasks.
- Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, moving, and preparing materials, working on rebuilding the workshop.
- Support workshop operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Learn to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Help with equipment inspections and basic maintenance activities.
- Learn to follow engineering drawings, instructions, and technical guidance under supervision.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Participate in training opportunities to develop engineering skills and knowledge.
- Complete other duties as required to support engineering and operational teams.
