This modern manufacturing engineering business in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire is growing. Through building very strong partnerships with their customers, they’re continuing to move into new and exciting markets, right at the forefront of specialist technologies.
They're a small to medium sized engineering company on a journey of achieving great things, and they're excited to be looking to hire a new Junior CAD Draughtsperson on a permanent basis to join their team.

You won’t necessarily have heard of this company because jobs don't come up there very often. This only happens if one of the team retires or when the company is growing, and this time the company has created a brand new vacancy to help with increasing workloads. You may have heard of some of their customers, but not all, because they make some specialist equipment for industries which often operate behind the scenes, whilst still making a big difference to people all over the world.

They’re now in a great position to take on a new Junior CAD Draughtsperson to join the growing team to support all CAD drawing matters for the design of mechanical products being made on their premises.

What experience will you need as our new Junior CAD Draughtsperson?
We're open to considering your application if you’ve just completed your studies at college or university and you’ve gained some good CAD Draughting skills or you might be one or two years into your career and you’re looking to make your next move to a role where you can continue your learning.
Either way, you’ll be comfortable with using CAD software to update, improve or amend 2D drawings, and interested in learning how to create 3D drawings too. You should have a good knowledge of drawing to British Standards and you’ll be happy in maintaining the historic drawings register, and carefully recording any changes.
Job title: Junior CAD Draughtsperson
Location: On the outskirts of Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Commutable from Stroud, Dursley, Nailsworth, Tetbury, Cirencester, Gloucester and surrounding areas.
Working hours: 39 hour working week, day shift.
Pay rate: As a guide, we're looking to pay £28,000 - £32,000 depending on your skills and experience. We're happy to discuss your requirements too.
Contract type: Permanent
