This is a great opportunity to join a busy, successful and growing FMCG business. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be the first port of call for all HR queries with responsibility for all HR administration including; weekly payroll, recruitment, employee engagement, employee benefits and employee relations including performance management disciplinary and grievance.
Main tasks
Weekly payroll administration:
Collating payroll data and liaising with external payroll provider
BACS payment requests; AOE, DEA & P32
Employee queries
Responsible for all HR related administration:
Return to work & annual leave – via HR System
Absence management and reviews
New Starters
Probation Reviews
Leavers – exit interviews
Accurate data recording for KPI’s
Works Council minutes
Coordination of meetings
Reviewing policies and procedures
Personnel files
Employee Relations:
Supporting managers with absence reviews
Supporting managers with disciplinary & investigation
Supporting managers with probation reviews
Occupational health
Recruitment:
Supporting managers
Advertising & candidate selection via Indeed
Liaising with agencies
Supporting managers with interviews
On-boarding & Induction:
Offer letters & contracts
Issuing new starter packs
Right to Work checks UK & foreign nationals
Updating HR systems
HR Induction
Booking H&S and Food Safety Inductions
Employee Engagement/Employee Benefits:
Works Council
Employee survey
Birthday cards/gifts
Long service awards
Christmas/Easter/St David’s Day gifting
Role Requirements
Ability to hit the ground running

Skills & Experience
Must have at least 2 years experience working within a HR environment
Attention to detail is essential
Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Mail Merge
HR Software; T&A and employee database
CIPD Level 5 or CIPD Level 3 and willing to progress to Level 5
Experience in a busy manufacturing environment is essential; preferably food.
