The role
As Care Home Manager (Residential Care), you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and compliance of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clear leadership to the team, creating a positive and supportive culture focused on resident wellbeing
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and working towards high inspection ratings
- Managing budgets effectively to achieve financial targets and control costs
- Driving occupancy through local marketing, networking and relationship building
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
- Leading, developing and supporting a multi-disciplinary team to deliver consistent care standards
- Proven experience managing a residential or nursing home setting
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
- A track record of achieving good or outstanding inspection outcomes
- Commercial awareness with experience improving occupancy and financial performance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
