Meridian Business Support is delighted to be partnering with a leading national healthcare provider to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a large nursing home in Liverpool.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, operational management, and commercial performance of the home. You will be empowered to create a positive culture, deliver exceptional resident outcomes, and ensure the service operates to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the home's staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, dignity, and person-centred care.
  • Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team committed to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining excellent standards and driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets effectively, achieving financial targets while maintaining exceptional care quality.
  • Develop local business relationships and implement marketing initiatives to support occupancy growth and enhance the home's reputation.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all governance, quality assurance, and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
  • Promote a safe, secure, and positive environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within a nursing home environment.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and a proven history of achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
  • The ability to drive service improvement and support future growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant management qualifications are advantageous.
