FLT Counterbalance Driver/Warehouse Operative to work, Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4:30pm and Friday, 8am – 2pm.

What you bring to the role:
- Experience of working in a production or manufacturing process.
- FLT counterbalance certification
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative is essential.
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and offer new ideas and working practises to help maintain a continuous improvement culture.
- A degree of mechanical ability as the use of tools is required to perform some tasks.
- Own transport - the site is not directly accessible by public transport/public transport not available at some shift start/finish times.
Duties To include:
- Ensure packaging, labelling and overall presentation meets with the required standard.
- Ensure finished product is correctly and safely stored in the warehouse, adhering to the safe stacking guidelines.
- Operate equipment in accordance with instructions.
- Show initiative and assist to minimize downtime during machine paper breaks.
- Proactive involvement in safety systems, reporting close calls and near misses, adhering to instructions set out in policies and procedures, assisting in with the writing, development and review of risk assessments and procedures.
- Perform any other task at a similar level for which you have received training for.
