💥 What You’ll Be Doing as Welder / Fabricator
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Grinding, sanding, polishing, and finishing components to a high-end standard
- Using a range of hand tools and power tools
- Reading plans and working to deadlines and daily production targets
- Recording builds via internal systems
- Communicating progress and resolving issues proactively
- Supporting other departments when needed — teamwork is key!
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience with MIG & TIG welding (aluminium & stainless steel)
- Apprentice trained or time-served background preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- Metal types and grades
- Machinery and fabrication processes
- Welding symbols and specifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills (coding knowledge is a bonus but not essential!)
