Experienced School Caretaker Burnley
Are you a reliable and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding role in a school environment? We are seeking an experienced School Caretaker to ensure our school is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs
– Carry out minor repairs, maintenance tasks, and general upkeep of the school premises.
Security
– Ensure the safety and security of the school, including unlocking/locking buildings, checking alarms, and monitoring access points.
Cleaning & Hygiene
– Oversee cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and ensure all areas are well-maintained.
Safety Compliance
– Conduct regular health and safety checks, fire drills, and risk assessments.
Logistics Support
– Set up spaces for events, receive deliveries, and manage storage.
What We’re Looking For:
âś” Previous experience in a caretaking or facilities management role (preferred but not essential).
âś” Strong practical skills for general repairs and maintenance.
âś” Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
âś” Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
âś” Knowledge of health and safety regulations (or willingness to learn).
âś” Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
