Electrical Supervisor
Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company who have recently grown their Electrical team and are now looking to bring in an additional Electrical Supervisor. This will provide a variety of work around the North-west, with occasional work further afield. Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company who have recently grown their Electrical team and are now looking to bring in an additional Electrical Supervisor. This will provide a variety of work around the North-west, with occasional work further afield. - Starting salary of c.£45k (in line with JIB, based on 40-hour week) with lots of potential for additional earning, greatly increasing your annual take-home pay
- Immediate starts available (if successful during application period)
- Business expenses and parking contributions
- Additional overtime and weekends available, as well as additional shifts such as nights (if desired)
- Majority of projects focussed regionally, however there may be times when there will be projects that demand working away (e.g Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Blackpool, etc.)
- Full SSP, bereavement, medical, holiday, and pension allowance
- Additional training for industry-specific courses
- Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments and managing teams of installation Electricians
- Gold JIB Electrician Card
- SSSTS
- BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations
- IPAF preferred but not essential
- DBS preferred but not essential
- Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)
- Supervising teams of electricians as they perform electrical installations, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
- Ability to Supervise Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment on site, with an ability to fault-find electrical systems
- Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and with accurate problem-solving skills
- Working independently on electrical installation as well as effectively contributing to team environments if and when required
- Ability to work alongside subcontractors and other trades on commercial projects
- Good timekeeping skills to work to deadlines and changing project timelines
- Be involved with paperwork, Health & Safety, RAMS, and toolbox talks
- Being customer-facing on various contracts, meaning effective communication and customer-service skills are essential
