Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the mental health ward.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and healthcare staff.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Promote a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Handle administrative duties, including staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and budgeting.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current registration.
- Significant experience in mental health nursing.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
